CloveHitch is managed by its managing member CloveHitch Capital Partners LLC, which is primarily owned by Jacob Hawkinson.

Prior to forming CloveHitch, Jacob Hawkinson worked in the Global Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch in New York City. Within his team, Jacob was primarily responsible for managing the alternative investment portfolios for high net worth individuals. Jacob was responsible for initial and ongoing due diligence, manager selection, performance monitoring and asset allocation for both private equity and hedge funds. Jacob also handled highly structured derivatives/swaps transactions in commodities, foreign exchange, equities, and interest rates. During 2008 and 2009, Jacob conducted approximately $400 million of transactions in the alternative asset space. Prior to his time at Merrill Lynch, Jacob worked at Morgan Stanley where he was part of a team that advised privately held businesses on how to monetize and execute business strategies.

Jacob serves on the advisory board of SpineSearch, a healthcare recruitment and education company, KingsPoint Land LLC, an acquirer of over 1,200 acres of land in central Texas and Francis DDS LLC, a multi-facility dental practice. Jacob is also actively involved as a member of the fundraising committee for the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University Hospital. Jacob received his B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. He lives in New York with his wife and three children. Jacob is actively involved in coaching youth lacrosse and likes to spend the winter snowboarding with his family.

Namek Zu'bi is an Associate at CloveHitch Capital Partners LLC. Prior to joining CloveHitch, Namek worked as an analyst with Deutsche Bank AG within their Global Market Equities Technology division, which manages trading platforms for the Equities, Derivatives, and Prime Finance businesses. Namek graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information Systems and additional concentrations in Business Administration and the Spanish language. Namek has also achieved the Series 65 certification for investment advisory. Within his capacity at CloveHitch, Namek will assist the managing member in all responsibilities of running the fund while also focusing on expanding the fund's reach in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.

Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, Namek was a member of both the Junior Jordanian National Basketball and Swimming teams from 2001-2004. Namek serves on the board of directors for Adritec, a company that specializes in the design, supply, and installation of a comprehensive range of modern irrigation systems globally. Namek is also the founder and executive director of Rally For Humanity: a nonprofit organization that creates an online community to inspire thought and create awareness on social development initiatives while providing a platform for nonprofit groups of all sizes to promote and solicit funding for their projects transparently. He currently resides in New York City where he continues his passion for sports and social development.

Sagar Mehta is an Associate at CloveHitch Capital Partners LLC. He has recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS (Hons) in Business Administration holding concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. His responsibility with the fund will include assisting the managing member with all operations as well growing the fund’s presence in India as well as other parts of South Asia.

His working experience includes summer internships at Bank of America Securities, Mariner Investment Group, Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management, and Kotak Wealth Management. During his time at Carnegie Mellon Sagar held various leadership positions in university clubs, cultural groups, and dance teams. He currently resides in Westchester, New York.
